REGSEVEN is run by Atom Health & Safety Ltd (company number 11236489), which is responsible for your information under UK data protection law.
Accounts and profiles
You sign in with your email address; we don't use passwords. Your practitioner profile (qualifications, memberships, experience, skills and knowledge) is private to you. We use it to show how well you match jobs and, if you switch on "Available for one-off work", to show you one-off jobs to price and invite you to the best fits.
"Let employers find me" is off by default and isn't live yet. We won't show your profile to employers unless you apply for their job and agree to share it.
CVs and AI
If you upload a CV, we store it privately: only you can see it until you choose to share a copy in a job application. With your consent, an AI service (Anthropic's Claude, or the AI built into our hosting provider Lovable) reads it to suggest profile details.
We only extract work details: qualifications, memberships, experience, skills and knowledge. We tell the AI to ignore personal characteristics such as age, health or nationality. Nothing is added to your profile until you check and confirm it. We don't keep the text the AI reads. You can delete your CV, or your whole account, at any time from My profile.
Job applications
When you apply with REGSEVEN, we ask you to agree to share your saved profile, CV, email address and optional note with the employer for that specific job. We keep a copy of the profile and CV you submitted, so later edits or replacing your CV do not change that application.
Only you and that job's employer can view the application. CV download links expire after one minute. Credentials are declared, not independently verified, and matching does not decide who gets hired.
You can withdraw in My applications to stop employer access and new CV downloads. A link already issued can work until it expires, and a copy already downloaded cannot be recalled. Deleting your REGSEVEN account removes your submitted applications and CV copies from REGSEVEN; employers remain responsible for any copies they have downloaded.
One-off jobs
When you post a one-off job, signed-in professionals who have switched on one-off work can see the job details, the area (the first half of the postcode), your timing and budget, and your first name. We also invite the best-matched ones by email. Professionals we invite, or who send you a price, can see the full site postcode so they can price accurately.
Before you accept a price, you see each professional's first name and initial, headline, area and rate. After you accept, you and that professional can see each other's name and email address. Nobody else can.
REGSEVEN charges the professional a fee on accepted jobs: 15% for the first job with a client and 7% for repeat jobs, minimum £15. The fee is recorded with the accepted quote.
Job alerts
If you sign up to The Safety Jobs Weekly, we store your email and the preferences you choose. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your alert.
"Didn't hear back" reports
If you report that an employer hasn't replied, we store your email, the date you applied and any note, so we can follow it up with the employer. We don't share your email with the employer without asking you first.
Files employers upload
Adverts sent to us are stored privately and only REGSEVEN admins can open them. Employer logos are public because they appear on adverts.
Matching
Matching is a guide. People make the decisions: employers choose who to shortlist and clients choose which quote to accept.
